Friday was a beautiful day at the track – not too hot or sunny – the 2nd running of Grand-Am at IMS. A few AUDIs gathered before the afternoon races at the Car Corral. Can you find the AUDIs surrounded by all the other German cars?
The first race did not have any AUDIs so we concentrated on the 2nd race, the main event. Before that, Fall-Line Motorsports and AUDI Sport Customer Racing were gracious enough to give seven of us a tour of their race R8s and their trailers in the Paddock.
The 2 R8s were prepared identically so here is the blue Fall-Line with the mechanics!

Next, our tour guide from Audi Sport walked us through the parts trailer – with <2 hrs to race time, it was immaculate!
The silver started ahead of the blue at 5pm race time.
However, a yellow BMW (grrr) shunted the poor silver R8 out of the race – so much for running in 3rd!
